Lost controls-Windows Media Player 10

On previous WMP 9 I was able to minimize and have the "stop", "play" controls minimize onto the taskbar as well. Now that I've downloaded WMP 10 that feature does not seem to exist. However, I also downloaded WMP 10 on my laptop and it works fine there. I've checked MS forums and others seem to have the same problem, but no one seems to have a solution. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about when WMP is in skin mode, where everything is minimised so the player itself doesn't take up too much space on the screen? If so, the only thing I can think of is to take WMP out of skin mode.
