service pack 2

I am no computer wiz just to start off. I heard Service pack 2 came out, but I didnt get a windows automatic up date so I went to microsofts web sites and found this update section Its said I was was missing 1 updates Service Pack 2, so i click the install button, and it downloads, but for some reason it didnt install. I go to my computer right click go to properties and it still says service pack 1. CAn some plz guide me on how to install it. And also I run games, and photoshop, and AOL on my computer will service pack 2 interfear with these

And why wont my Windows automatic updates work, the icon on the task bar shows up and says 0% dowloaded. I have checked my settings and they are set to autoamtic updates. The setting where it says " let me know when there is an update but do not dl or install" but I havent gotten any of these mesages in like 3 months

Cool

Being a big download it is coming down in increments and will install when finished. If you are on dialup it may take several days or maybe weeks depending on how long you are online.

If you are on briadband I would think it would be thru by now. You can manually download the the full version 266M if on broadband or you can order the CD. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

I ordered a copy from microsoft on a CDROM.

They mailed it to me for free.

I have not installed it yet.
