Raid Problems Please Help

I have a RAID array on a Win 2003 server which is our file server. One of the hard disk in the array failed yesterday. We had a Dell technicain come out & replace the failed disk. After the disk was replaced, the server was restarted. The server ran check disk & re-indexed. I came in this moring, logged onto the server, & made sure all the data was there & it was thanks God!!! The disk that was replaced showed that it was failed in the array manager. Dell told me that was possible & to do a re-build on the failed disk. It is rebuilding at this time. It is around 30% complete. I can access the data from the server & if I am logged onto the workstations as administrator, I can access all of the data. If I log in as a user I can not access the data. I have checked the permissions & shares on the file server & user do have permissions. I called Dell & they advised me to let the disk rebuild to 100% & go from there, but users should be able to access the data if they have permissions & if the data is there. I am just about totally lost at this point hopeing & praying that after the rebuild on the disk, users will be able to access it but am unsure at this time. has anyone seen this before or have any advice???

Just let it finish. If you go in and access and/or move/change files, it will take longer.
