Win XP for my new Build

Ok, a bunch of you guys are helping me out with my 1st build on a very low budget. The issue of OS could really break the bank, however. I have a copy of VPS 6.0 with WinXP-Pro for my Mac.... could I use this install disc for my new build? I've heard about needing a separate license for each machine the OS is on, but what if I uninstalled WinXP form my Mac?? If the deal with my build works out I won't need VPC anymore. Thoughts or suggestions??

Whether it's from a PC to a PC or a Mac to a PC , as long as it's on just one computer at a time I believe it's legal.

But if it's contained on one CD (VPS plus Win XP) your PC may not read it if it's in a Mac format

No, there's actually 2 install discs... one to let my my Mac emulate the PC, and then a separate WinXP install disc. I just wasn't sure about the licensing, I'm away at college and didn't bring alot of my software/manuals etc. with, so I have to wait before I can get it down here. Thanks
