programs automatically closing in sp2

very weird..thought it was just me, but some programs seem to be automatically shutting down on their own. First it was XDCC Catcher, it would close (just disappear) after about 30 minutes. Now it is DVD XCopy. Quits automatically after about 30 minutes.

Anyone know about this thing?
thanks

You just discovered another program (or two) that won't work with XP SP2 until it's patched. DVD XCopy seems to be incompatible for many users: http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/102427 The XDCC Catcher error may be a conflict with the SP2 firewall, or simply another program incompatible with a system file version update.

Uninstalling SP2 has worked for some users of DVD XCopy.
