Unhappy I now hate the letter "P"

This problem just started. Whenever I log in to my Win2000 box (SP4), it will eventually start auto typing the letter "P", as if the key on the keyboard was stuck. I am able to log in without the problem if I use safe mode (I'm using it now). I assume from this that it was some sort of bad program that got installed somehow. I did not see anything too strange in my Run reg key, or my startup menu folder. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Thank you.

A piece of dust/coffee/just about anything could cause the key to stick.

It's not that the key is stuck. It doesn't happen until into the logon sequence, and it doesn't happen is safe mode.

I finally figured it out. It was the autoloading part of my Nostromo keypad that was doing it. No idea why.

Thanks for the help.
