XP boots up sloooow after removing virus
Hi all,
I work at a school where we have 28 dell desktops that have winxp with pentium 4's with 256 Ram. Each machine is identical. About a week ago for some reason we had a outbreak of the SasserB virus. Removal of the virus was a pain but relatively easy. The problem is now the machines boot very slow. I mean we're talking anywhere between 7-11 minutes. Before everything booted up about normal. Each machine has a static ip address and isn't part of domain. Any suggestions? Thanks, JW |
