This is a new one...
This morning when I booted up my computer, some file labels (I have my folders in detail view) were in blue text instead of black. I'm embarassed that I don't know where this setting is in XP, but if someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. I have no idea how it got changed

I didn't know that either, but here's what I found:
http://www.computing.net/windows2003...orum/1079.html Makes sense to me that they are compressed files. The setting to change the color back is under Tools..Folder Options...View, and then "Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color". |
