Swap files....

Okay...this is my problem...i am trying to install XP onto my computer....i get as far as running the CD and the next thing i see is. "Set up cannot continue. Cannot find a place for the swap file" ....never seen this before...so...my question is...what do i do next...??....

XP needs some swap space on a hard disk to install. It sounds like you have only an SATA hard disk, and didn't load the drivers for it with F6 when XP setup started. If you have a PATA hard disk, check if it's being recognized in the BIOS. If you have a SATA hd, try pressing F6 the moment you see the blue screen of setup appearing.
