the kid has managed to change the flashing cursor from a nice thin vertical line to a 6mm square black block
i've looked everywhere but where you are gonna tell me How to change the flashing cursor back to default black vertical line? this is the cursor that is in internet explorer 6.0 text and address boxes, it seems to be ok in word etc. TIA

sussed default pointer
OK so i tried that, but when i go to IE it still has the black box flashing in google search box and in the address bar? The pointer changes from arrow to default when i hover over the box but the actual cursor in the box is still a thick black line rather than the thin line. |

start>control panel>accessibility options>display>cursor options there it has cursor width control mmmmm kids huh
