Hi All,
This is not really a Windows question but I was wondering if someone could help anyway, this site has been a great help to me so far...thank you. I'm pretty much new to this gaming stuff. I'm having problems playing my Oni demo. The sound is fine, the short movie clip before the actual game starts runs well. The problem starts when the game begin, it runs really slow like a 4-5 seconds delay. I guess I have a older model computer, it has a celeron processor...64MB memory and ATI Rage Pro Turbo 3D card. How can I fix this problem? Do I need more memory? How about another 3D card? Someone please enlighten me!!! Thanks |

You might get a better response if you posted this in the Gaming forum.

game response
you will most definatly get more response at the game forum.
make sure you do NOT have anything else running when you play. i even shut off my wallpaper/screensavers etc.. you can sometimes get better game play(video) if you shut off or use a lesser qualty sound. check the res you are playing in. the games coming out now ask for alot of memory. 128 being the norm it seems these days (depending on type of game). i played with b17 fortress, and it was asking for 256! memory seems cheap these days. at least it was last week. alot of times if you tweak around enough you can get a game to play better. hope this helps |
