Media Player within IE 6
How do I get video clips to play within the IE 6 browser itself ? I am running IE 6 with Win XP Home (SP II) and WMP-10 ? I checked the advanced settings in my IE options and multimedia is checked to play files within the browser .
Whats happening is WMP player is launching sep and what I want is for the video clips to play within the lower left hand corner of my browser like they use too. Thanks |

Windows Media Player Ver 10
Well since I got no replys I managed to trouble shoot this myself. After reformating the computer I find that Windows XP (Home) will play Media clips (MPEGS) within IE ver 6 with Windows media player ver 7 and ver 8 (XP) and ver 9 OK If you go into IE properties/multimedia and check "play videos in webpages it will work BUT not with ver 10. Instead it launches WMP 10 sep.
