blue screen

hi fellas, just had a look at a friends computer which has started blue screening just before you select on a user account. the blue screen error message says stop 0x0000008e (0xc0000000s, 0x 8050ab13, 0xfc927bdc, 0x0000000)
beginning dump of physical memory

the system is win xp pro , and now , dont laugh, but it has only 125 mb of memory !!!!!

it has been working fine for weeks!!!!!

and i can get into safe mode , but its limited as to what i can do !!
i have told him to get a stick of 512 sharpish !!!!!!!!

any ideas????????????

Looks like a possible defective ram module, or a flaky video driver.

well, threw in a new stick of ram , and exactly the same thing !!!!!
asgain i tried in safe mode and no probs at all. need more help here guys if u can .

If the system is working fine in Safe Mode, you probably have a driver issue. Did you uninstall and reinstall the video drivers?

certainly did cricket, me old mate. and to no avail. i cant post system specs as yet , but it is a shop built piece of crap from a few years ago, with on board graphics. it is a strange one !!!!
