windows xp

hi, i think i saw windows xp home edition for like 70 bucks oem somewhere but i can't find it anywhere! newegg has it at 87 bucks but i'm almost positive i saw it somewhere for 70... thanx for any help...

Why would you make that statement? XP Home may not have all the security features of Pro built in, but unless you plan on networking in an office environment, you don't need those Pro features. Plus, SP2 adds so much security to either I doubt if there's even much of a difference any more. I use both and Home is just fine. By the way, it's Home edition not addition. Addition is what you learned in math class.

i agree with Panama, i have both with sp2 and for practical purposes i see no difference.
