XP sp2 security update...

Well it's now out but there's a problem.
Remember when sp2 began appearing as an automatic update ?
How you'd click on it and it would simply disappear again without downloading or installing?
Same deal with this.
Last time around I thought it was my problem because I had FireFox open.
This time I made sure it was IE. It looked exactly like it should, proper info and all, till I clicked on download. Then it did it's disappearing act.
This isn't a matter of me being impatient, it's something about the download site itself. It will work perfectlly, with the window you should see, and the download and install bars, if you get it from the site by hand.
It will fail if you use automatic update.
Wish I knew what was going on.
