xp pro freezes up

Hey All,
I am running a windows xp pro.
Randomly yet everytime the computer is on, the computer freezes up. No functions work such as Alt + Cntrl + Delete. It matters not what I am doing at the time although most of the time it happens I am playing music through windows media or real player. What happens is all of a sudden the computer freezes and the screen either goes completely blue or a lot of other times the screen freezes with a multi-colored scheme. I have re-installed the video and audio drivers with no change.

could you give some information of what hardware you have in your system.

you could have a heat problem or maybe even a ram problem.
