Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Driver Signing button

What is the setting for driver signing, optimal usage for home environments should suffice from using the "Warn - Prompt me each time to choose an action". This should give you the warning as before but will still allow you to install the software.

Funny though that you are getting these errors with Microsoft software. Where are you doing the updates from. Try using windowsupdate to update them.
