What would happen if I accidentally
put my XP install CD from my compaq laptop into my Compaq desktop running win98se. Would it work?

be violating the EULA, and during activation you would not be able to activate your illegal installation of XP.Oh and by the way, discussions of bypassing software EULAs are not permitted on this site, in case you accidentally missed the Rules you can find them here: http://forum.pcmech.com/rules.php |
