windows xp pro installation problems
i am trying to install windows xp pro onto a maxtor 120gb hdd. I have formatted the drive and had it working fine on another pc. However when i try to install xp on it, i keep getting a blue screen with white writing on it saying that an error has occured and windows is shutting down.
I dont understand! i have installed xp no problem on 120gb western digital drives? any ideas wot i am doing wrong plse? cheers mike |

What error message are you getting on the blue screen?

it just says an error has occured. its just not allowing me to copy window to the disk?
