Does anyone know how to delete windows xp files that are "undeletable", you know, the ones that when you delete them windows puts them right back, for example, windows movie maker and ie.

Ummm...well how exactly are you deleting them? If you're just deleting them from the desktop, all you are doing is removing a shortcut to the program. You must go to Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and select which one you want to remove.

Its a pain to do it manually but there is a wonderful software package XPLITE that will take care of that and more. For information see http://www.litepc.com/
Just be forewarned that the windows update site doesnt work with other browsers. |
