Video Sound problem

When running video's off the hard disk, .avi, .mpeg, ect. I have a problem with them not staying muted, I can mute it once, but then if I start a new movie, or if I move the position of the movie the sound will come back on. The weird thing is this happens on ALL my videoplayers, Winmedia, BSplayer, divx. This happend right after SP2.

System: 2.8gig HT p4
1gig ram
GeForce 5600 Nvidia
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS.

This is one of 2 mute problems in SP2. The other one is that it will not unmute. I didn't come across any resolutions for either problem, unfortunately.

You can either leave it as is, or uninstall SP2.

Well after having this problem for a while now and being unable to fix it I thought I will give it a bump in case someone has a fix now.
