splat It's somethig wrong with mouses in XP

I have noticed that in all NT based OS's like W2K or XP the mouse always do some weird things like move from one side to other off the screen when you have just moved a few milimeters, or sometimes it dont moves, it happen either when you are just using the system or when you are playing(more often in quake 3), sometimes it just frezees for seconds and if you keep moving it a beep will insult you and it will keep the same, it's really annoying and it hapen with several mouses, I was wondering if some of you've had this problem and if you managed to correct it, thanks in advanced...

Try going into the device manager and remove the mouse drivers, then reboot.

Me again

I've tried that; it doesn't seem to be a driver problem its more like a bug or something, it doesn´t happen all the time it just when it wants to
