I read somewhere recently that with Win.XP it is better & safer to use a guest account rather than the Administrator,,,
I don't recall ever hearing this before, but it kind of makes sense a little... Any comments ?

Not "the" guest account, it is usually better to create an account to use rather than use the built-in administrator account.
Under Win2K the administrator account was the default and this can lead to problems later on, this has changed with XP where it forces creation of an account when you first load and start the OS so It should not be an issue unless you purposely overrode that. |
