logs on... logs right back off
Girls computer was acting up(popups...etc), so I ran ad-aware, which ran fine. Then I ran spybot: sd. It gave me some error half-way thru about not being able to access some file(backdoor orifice i think it was), because it was in use. So it stopped the scan. I cleaned what it had already found, but was giving me errors about msjava, and i eventually just had to force close spybot.
Then I restarted, and when she goes to log back on, enters her password.. it says "logging on", then waits for about 10 seconds, and says "logging off", closing network connections.. etc, and goes back to the login screen! Doesnt matter if I start in safe mode or normal. Even if i select "last known good configuration", it doesnt work. any ideas?!?! |

Try this: http://www.opentechsupport.net/forum...c/20552-1.html
It's caused by the removal of a certain piece of spyware.
