Windows won't load... HELP!
My friend just tried installing Tribes: Vengeance or something... from 3dgamers.com... That's the last thing he did he claims.. and the isntall froze in the middle.... so he restarted.. and windows loaded fine, until it froze at the "welcome" screen.. where the users are selected and such... He can't boot up in safemode as well.. and he has not command prompt... what can he do to fix this prob without reformatting? He doesn't want to lose all his settings....

On that same alternate boot options menu that U use to get to safe mode there is an option for last known good configuration, try that..
