Display problems
I am trying to reinstall XP on a computer that just caught a bad virus. So I reinstall it using this CD that came with the Dell. And now when I boot up the colors and screen size is all messed up. I go into the display manager right click and hit properties. But the colors wont change and same with the size of the screen! I looked up in the help guide and it said to change the default moniter but I can't click on anything because it wont let me click it.

Sounds like the video drivers didn't get installed. XP usually prompts on restart to optimize your screen. Might check the device manager and see what drivers are loaded for the video. Try updating the drivers. You may have to use the Dell disk that contains drivers if the native XP ones don't work. (they should work tho)
