Is it Safe to Delete...
...the folder called "ServicePackFiles" in my Windows directory???

I believe that's only there for if you ever want to uninstall the Service Pack.

Thats what I thought too, and I know that I will never want to uninstall SP2... So it would be nice to free up that 900mb.

How to Remove Windows XP Service Pack 1 Folders

This folder contains files that are required when you add or remove optional Windows components. This folder is also used by Windows File Protection (WFP) to replace damaged or changed protected system files. |
