About boot and commad files

I have extra choices in my choice of systems to boot in... anyone know where the boot record/control document is?

Also, there is a command you enter in Run that opens all the system, batch, exec, and win.ini records. It was like systemedit or the like. Does anyone know?

Try typing in "msconfig" without the quotes at the run command. If you are running Win2000 this will not work but you can download the file from the internet or take from an XP PC.

Oh no....

Selecting Windows 98 choice on my boot page goes no where... I can only access Windows 2000 now. However, through that I can accress all Windows 98 files. Any ideas on how I could fix the boot files so it loads 98 once more?

Sounds like you have a dual boot system, what are you trying to achieve? Do you just want 98 on the system if yes then you have to remove all traces of the 2000 installation.
