Glicthy Folder?

Ive got a folder in My Music where I store all my music I ripped from my CD's. When I try to dbl click on this folder, sometimes I get in without a hitch, but someties I dbl click on it and I get one of those "Sorry for your convenience, but Explorer.exe has to shut down" type messages, then explorer does it's close and reload thing. Thats starting to get rather annoying. What would fix that? a Scandisk?

TIA,
CN

Is this folder on your desktop or are you trying to access it through Windows Explorer?

How big is the folder? Right click on it and choose Properties to see how much space it's taking up.

This folder is in the My Music folder. The contents (all .mp3) takes 293 MB of space. Sometimes I get an explorer must close error, sometimes itll work, and somtimes ill get one of those errors that says something about memory that could not be written.

You might want to test your ram.
