Im trying to install Transport Tycoon Duluxe onto my xp os and have tried doing under my other comp wiv win ME os but cant see the "restart in dos mode"
please help ive been after this a long time and i need ur help thank you for your time ransom |

Not sure if this will work or not, but try going to Start> Run> type in COMMAND and hit OKAY. That'll get you to a shell that's compatible with the old Dos command.com and you should be able to install that game.

hate to shoot u down in flames but
unfoutunately i tryed that first but the screen "streched" horisontaly then tryed installing by going into the cd and finding setup and same happened
so soz im currently installing win 98 which u can use dos outside windows hopefully that will work p.s. soz bout spelling |

For WinME there is a workaround to get the access to DOS mode back.
In Win XP there is no DOS at all. If a DOS game does not work correctly under Windows XP (some games play fine, some don't), then you need an emulator, like DOSBox. RJ

its a shame the hard disk got wiped in a power cut (sparks and fire from back) so getting a new win 98 that will have to do for a while LOL
