HP Recovery CD Creator Problem
I have a new HP 1072n and was wanting to make recovery CDs for it. The computer came with a program to do just that (HP Recovery CD Creator)
I start the procedure and when I place the DVD+RW as prompted I receive an alert "DVD is not blanK". I used brand new Maxwell DVD+RW disks and I went to the HP Support and basically went around in a circle. Finally I was instructed to get HP, Sony or Imitation CDs. I did (Sony DVD+RW) and got the same results. The Support centered e-mailed me instructions on how to do the procedure and I have followed it exactly (not that complicated anyway). I have no problems using other programs to burn/copy on to CDs or DVDs?? So, I'm stumped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Are you sure that your DVD burner is compatible with a DVD+RW?

Yes it is. I took a DVD+RW and burned a photo on to it using Record Now.
