Updating XP Offline

I've installed a new motherboard in a PC, but some of its features such as sound and ethernet won't work until windows is updated. Can I download the updates to XP and put them on a CD-R?

Thanks

Just download SP2 and probably WMP 10. Currently there are only a couple of post-install SP2 patches although that will change soon.

This is a fresh install of XP home, so Need Direct X 9 to even install the motherboard drivers. That's why I need it on a disk.

It might have helped if you mentioned that in your previous post instead of having us guessing about which updates you are talking about. You can download DirectX 9 here
