If you're running XP, go to Start>Run, type in "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes, with the space after "control"), click OK.

Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer," click OK.

In the dialog window that opens, type in the user account name and password you want it to boot into. If there is no password for that account, leave that blank, click OK.

That should do it.

Hi Lupin26:
It would be appreciated if you did not delete your post even if it is to inform us that the issue was fixed. Letting your post remain will help others with the same issue to gain information on how to resolve it.
Thanks
