Install hardware-cant locate unzipped drivers

Hello to all- In Win98 , I have unzipped the drivers for a USB Flash Drive,
and run the 'setup.exe' - "installation complete". Rebooted and the 'found new
hardware ' wizard runs, but it cannot locate the .inf files it is looking for.
I tried the Windows inf folder but not there. Where would setup have sent these driver files ?
Thanks lots !

They will be in the "unzipped" folder that was created by whatever compression software you were using.

THanks but I didn't explain properly. I am not looking for the unzipped files.
One of the unzipped files was a 'setup' file that ran and installed the actual drivers- somewhere. These drivers have not 'connected ' with the hardware. The windows hardware installation software that runs after the reboot is not finding the drivers and I need to type in a location. I dont know where to find them.
Cheers.

If you know the name of the .inf file why not try a general search for it?

I have no idea of the name- I did a *.inf search but there are too many to even guess at the name.

Run the wizard again and it should stall at the point that it cant find the .inf file, make a note of the name and do a general search.
Where did you get the zip files from?
