Multi Os booting

I have windows XP installed on two partitions on my computer. When my PC boots up it goes to the second partition unless I hit the down arrow to select the first partition. Is their any way I can change which partition it boots from by default or is their any software I can use to have it automatically boot to the first partition?

Thanks

why would you even need two install of xp ?
there may be some 3rd party software that will do that, like system-comander
but I am not recommending it, only because I have never seen it.

Start > run > type "msconfig" and hit enter > "boot.ini" tab

Select the O/S you want to boot with and click "set as default".
