Multi login with XP
Here is my problem.
Just bought a new laptop with XP and set it up so me and my wife have login accounts. I setup MS Outlook to get our email, but the problem I am having is that when I download my email, when my wife logs on to her account and goes to get her email, my email shows up along with all her stuff. This happens both ways. It is as if outlook only has one account and just puts all the email in the same place for both users. How do I set it up so that she gets her email and I get my email as separate accounts? We don't have passwords on our user accounts to log in right now, but would that have anything to do with it? Info: I am using MS Office 97 on XP Thanks. |

In Outlook, I looked under files and there is no Identities there. Am I looking in the wrong place? Can you or someone please elaborate a little more please?
Remember I am using MS Office "97" |

Outlook wasn't really decent till 2000, Outlook 97 was pretty bad. I'd downgrade to Outlook Express or upgrade your Outlook if you want control over identities.

Outlook Express allows identities, I wasn't sure if Outlook XP allowed it because they are two different programs.

I was just working on Outlook XP yesterday - the equivalent to "identities" is Profiles. You create them through Control Panel - Mail, not from within Outlook itself. |
