Question trying to defrag but it wont let me! keeps saying chkdsk is sched to run after reboot

I reboot but it keeps giving me the same error. The error says to run chkdsk /f but when I do it just tells me would I like it to run after reboot. I put yes and reboot and then I try to defrag but it keeps giving me the error. Any ideas?
Thanks

That's normal. Chkdsk can't fix the OS drive when it's in Windows, thus the reboot, it fixes it during the boot process.

Try chkdsk /r - that also looks for bad sectors.
