Does it get any better when you turn off the visual eyecandy of XP? It shouldnt happen on a normal system. The thing you've got to check is when is it more likely to happen? Some logical tests should let u determine if there is a bottleneck to your system like ..
a) does it happen more when u have a lot of background tasks? b) What is the size of ur wallpaper, have you tried reducing the size of it (not just resolution but also filesize) <-- if i had to guess that would be my first guess c) does it happen even when u turn off visual add-ons to your OS d) |
