Disable the XP login screen?
Quick question, how do I disable the XP login screen and make it log on automatically? I have no password set anyway.

On my machine, I just turned off the guest account. I don't get the login screen since I did that. It goes from the Windows Xp splash screen, to the welcome screen, and then directly to my desktop.

Another way is to delete the .Net account that is established after installing the .Net update from Windows Update. That will leave the Owner (or your name) account and the Guest account which is disabled by default.
