Windows 2K "Can't write to Memory"

Any one else getting this error? When I open some applications (it is not always the same one) I get a "Windows cannot write to memory error". Any clue what is causing this?

your going to have to give some more details as to what your trying to do,

Test your ram with Memtest86 and test your hard drive with manufacturer's diagnostics.
