Data error(cyclic redundancy check) warning
I was moving files from one HD to the other, when this box comes out saying "cannot copy ....
 ata error(cyclic redundancy check). I tried copying the file, same result. What is wrong?

Well, CRC from my understanding is how the computer checks the integrity of a file transfer. The CRC is like a check, and if a CRC error occurs, then the file trying to be transfered is corrupt. HTH
Edit: More simply it's just a checksum.

In my experience, that means your HDD is about to die. I'd back up the stuff on it and replace it, if at all possible.

I've gotten that a few times from CDs. I think it's usually data corruption.

I think its data corupt, cause everything else moved just fine
