Copying SP2 from one machine to the other?

Hi, I've downloaded SP2 on my main XP machine. My other XP machine isn't (yet) connected to the internet. I'm wondering is there some way to burn the installation that I've already downloaded/installed on this machine so I don't have to re-download it (which I wouldn't be able to do anyway) on the new machine?

Or if not, is there a "burnable" version you can download?

Thanks in advance!

yes you can burn it to a cd or anything else you desire to.
its just a file like any other file. just a bit bigger.

you should do it with sp1 also, there are some updates on sp1 that are not on sp2, like the updated usb drivers.

By "downloaded SP2 on your main machine". . do you mean by Windows Update ?
If yes, then you gotta download it again. But this time, download the entire SP2 at once:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Now you can just burn this file to a CD, and update your other PC. And the best would also be to slipstream it, so you never have to download SP2 again.

Sorry bailey, I didn't realise that the Windows Update version was slightly different in that you couldn't copy the file. Anyway, I got it installed and it works great, thanks! By the way, are there any other updates since SP2 that I should put on this machine and/or is there a link where I can download them as they are published (i.e. apart from going to Windows Update).

TIA again!
