Windows XP Ctrl+Alt+Dlt problem
how come when I Ctrl+Alt+Dlt, the little window pops up then disappears? It shows up in the System Tray but then it disappears again.

You might have a virus, or some spyware. Is it only Task Manager that is affected? You should probably run an online antivirus scan, such as at http://housecall.trendmicro.com and a Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy scan. If that doesn't work, you might want to read the sticky at the top of the Security forum, about Hijack This, and post a log.
