Post how to make XP pro look better

Alright just reformatted, and now XP pro looks exactly like Home, i some how before i reformatted i got it to look more professional and it looked better. (to me) There is also this really annnnoying sound coming from my computer, like for example when i went to type this screen wasnt activated and it made a loud beeping noise. Thx for your help ahead of time

You're going to have to be a bit more descriptive since we don't know how it exactly "looked" to you.

when you say had it looking more professional i'm assuming you mean like the classic look of windows. to change it go to display in the control panel or right-click on the desktop and chose properties. On the themes tab where you can select a theme select windows classic. To change the start menu from the xp style to the classic style right-click on the taskbar. Select properties and on the start menu tab select classic start menu.

I think you mean the bleak green hils and sky default desktop

just right vlick on the desktop and select properities, then make all the differant changes you desire. the desktop is the first thing I change

ThemeXP is a good place to go to find wallpapers, login screens, boot screens, themes, etc..

Sry I wasnt descriptive enough i couldnt think straight last night. What i mean is, when i press ctrl alt delete it currently looks like MShome. But before i had it set up so it gave me a menu to choose what i wanted to do. The start menu also looked a little different. I didnt use any downloaded themes or anything.
