Boom Blaster Worm???

ISSUE: O/S=Windows XP(prof): installed ATT wireless ISP program--runs fine except after approx 5 minutes, machine shuts down with message indicating lass.exe file (in windows\ system 32) has so instructed??

Virus scanned both lass.exe and entire computer--nothing found (McAFEE)

QUESTION: resolution of this shutdown issue..i know there are cures using "services" file??

To prevent your system from shutting down, open a CLI and type: shutdown -a
Try the directions here: http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/sasser.mspx
