run time error?
win 98 se
when start up box pops up say run time error program/windows.exe has req the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. contact application support team. then when i close box everything disappears.. any help?? |

Start in safe mode and do virus and spyware scans.

hmm,, now what if i dont have any of the above.. can i reinstall windows or will
spyware and such stay on computer unless i clean hd. Dont have extra 30 at the moment for downloads |

If you don't have any of the above, you might as well wipe the hard drive and start over - and get an antivirus and some antispyware apps before you put it back on line.
