Recover unsaved files
Hi,
I shut down my pc last night (running XP home) using the hibernate function and then after turning it back on this morning I used it for a few hours. There were a couple of unsaved notepad files opened when the damn computer froze. I tried anything I could to unfreeze it but my only option was to reboot from the power button. I'd appreciate any help on whether it's possible to recover those unsaved notepad files using some sort of program or is it possible that the info could still be saved in the hibernation file? Thanyou. |

Notepad does not autosave, I doubt that they are anywhere to be found.

Yeh I guess in the end it's my fault for not saving them.
Do you know of any program that can be added to notepad so that it does auto save or a good alternative to notepad that has that feature? |

MS Word can autosave every few minutes, as can OpenOffice.
