system idle process
okay so everytime i open up my task manager i see this thing called "system idle process" and its pratically eating up 99 percent of my cpu. whats going on here? thanks for your time everyone.

Thats basically the "free capacity" of your CPU. If its 99%, then it means that everything else is using about 1%. Its nothing to worry about.

It's not eating anything. It plus all processes = 100%. Idle means just that.
