Unhappy Can't Access Performance in Administrative Tools

For some strange reason I can't seem to get access to "Performance" in the Administrative Tools. When I click on performance I receive the following error message: "Microsoft Management Control has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for any inconvience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost. For more information about the error, click here". OK, so I click and receive the Error Signature

AppName: mmc.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.2180 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00011e58

What does all of this mean and how can I correct it? I'm just guessing but it seems my Microsoft Management Console is corrupted. Can anyone please help this is making me .

Well, I found out what the prob was I had a corrupted .dll file so I decided to do a uninstall/reinstall of SP2 and all is well. I know I could have gone to www.dll-files.com to install the corrupted file but thought best to do a reinstall of SP2.
