Power Options-Power Schemes / MS Windows XP Pro

Hello,
To manage with power schemes one goes to : Control Panel-Power Options and the Power Options Properties dialog opens. Then click on the Power Schemes tab and there, there is a list of power schemes that one can choose from; actually there are only two on my PC: the Home/Office Desk and the Portable/Laptop.

Q1. As far as i know there should be more default schemes to choose from; so what could be wrong and i see only two?

To create a new power scheme one uses the Save As... tab which
Quote:
Saves changes to a power scheme. You can create a new power scheme by changing an existing one and saving it under a new name.
That was the Windows XP Help note.

Q2. This is what i did and i pressed Apply and then OK. However the next time i go to the Control Panel-Power Options-Power Schemes i see that only the two default schemes are on the list to choose from, what could be wrong?

Thank you.
